Children in Need

The Sixth Form delivered a fantastic autumn fayre on Friday 18th November for ChildrenImage result for children in need in Need. Each tutor group designed and planned an exciting stall and we had the biggest and best range yet with activities on offer such as ‘Ball Pong’, a hot chocolate café, face painting, baked goods, lucky dip, penalty shoot-out and mystery boxes. There was great participation from the whole school and the stalls were constantly buzzing with excitement, despite the freezing temperatures!   The Sixth Form tutor groups did well to come up with such creative ideas and run the stalls so effectively. Some excellent music was also provided by the Sixth Form students from Mr Cook’s tutor group and that really helped set a wonderful charitable atmosphere.

The event was well attended by all year groups and as a result we managed to raise a brilliant £584 on the stalls alone. Considering the fayre only lasts for 50 minutes during lunch that is a fantastic achievement.

Coupled with the mufti day money we are pleased to say that we have raised as a school a total of £1116.  A huge well done and thank you to all involved for yet another fun and successful Children in Need event.
